Acupressure for Fibromyalgia
An adjunct to conventional medicine is acupressure. It originated in China over 5000 years ago and has been proven to relieve pain symptoms caused by Fibromyalgia. It is similar to acupuncture, except without the needles. Acupressurists assist the body in balancing its energy, so it can heal itself, reduce inflammation, and relieve pain.

Gallbladder points 20, 30, 31 and 34 allow muscles to strengthen and help to enhance circulation in muscles and tendons. Liver 3 helps to calm the nervous system allowing muscle cramps and spasms to relax. Pericardium 6 works to relax the chest and upper digestive tract in addition to helping calm the mind. A combination of Spleen 6 and Stomach 36 actually increases absorption and helps to transport nutrients. Large Intestine 4 can be used to help calm pain.
